Stamp a Stack Sneak Peek!!

In the beginning of August this year….I did several swaps with other Stampin’ Up! Thailand Trip Achievers to get ready for our  awesome Holiday Catalog.  Here is one of the swaps I  made to share with other Stampin’ Up! demonstrators!!
Autumn comes up quickly here in the Stampin’ Up! world and for my Stamp a Stack classes I always like to make a card that will please those that just love Halloween or those that prefer just a Autumn themed card….well this card does both!!  And if you are coming to my September Stamp a Stack….you will be making this card!!

One of my favorite pieces is this pretty framelit that not only makes a lovely window in the box, but also one of my favorite cards.  This is a perfect project for my Stamp Club on Monday!


I wanted to color this in precisely, but was struggling how to achieve this neatly….then I thought Vellum!!!  So I cut my “window”out from Whisper White and stuck a square of Vellum Cardstock on the back.  Then colored in on the back of the vellum with our Many Marvelous Markers…and marvelous they are!!  Love them!!!

Add a square of Whisper White on the back of the Vellum Cardstock to keep the colors bright and vivid! Complete your card with layers, ribbons and pearls and you have a lovely card for any occasion!!

Cable Knit “Darlingness” …Is that a word???

Well it is now when you see my project for today!!!
So first let me give you a bit of background for today's creation.... back at my December Stamp a Stack, we made this Pinterest inspired Snow Hat gift card holder using the Cable Knit Folder found in the Stampin’ Up!  Holiday Catalog.  So cute….everyone loved it!!  This led to my inspiration for today's project!!

Well in January…..we had good news when we found out the Cable Knit Textured Folder was being carried over from the Holiday Catalog and we can continue ordering it!!  Yeah!

So back to my project for today…..recently I needed a Baby Shower Gift Card holder….so I thought BABY HAT!!!  Oh my gosh……Isn't this just the sweetest thing!!  Notice the pretty Metallic Ribbon from our Sale-a-Bration Catalog.    And combined with two of my favorite stamp sets…..Flower Shop Stamp Set and BYOP Stamp Set ….so cute!!



Just imagine all the colors you could use…Soft Sky, So Saffron, Mint Macaron….the possibilities are endless!  Now don't you agree my blog title  “ Cable Knit Darlingness” is appropriate???

More Jars of Love

Here is another card made from my favorite….Jar of Love!  

It is a simple card …using Dapper Denim ink and cardstock….sponging around the edge for a night sky effect.  And for all of you who were sad when our White Gel Pens were discontinued….I have an even better solution for you.  Use our White Chalk Marker!!!  It makes an awesome night sky!!

Jar of Love

Absolutely one of my favorites of the catalog this year is Jar of Love!  Growing up on a farm…this old  country girl fell in love with it instantly….bringing back memories of my mother and canning.   We had a very large garden and canned everything….my mother being from Germany….I mean everything!!   It was my inspiration for the following cards that we did at my June Stamp a Stack.

So the Fruit Stand Designer Paper was perfect for these cards.  Looks like Mom’s kitchen….except the lemons…no lemons in Wisconsin!

Merry Everything!

Here is another project from Holiday Stamp Camp 2014!!   The French Fry Box Bigz Die makes a great gift card holder!  But we need a little treat with that gift card….these Snuggets  (snowman Hershey Nuggets) are just the perfect thing.  To make a Snugget…. wrap an address label around a Hershey Nugget and draw on a snowman face. To make the hat, just cut the fingers off of dollar store gloves and add a pompom.  The tag comes from the Merry Everything Bundle.  And don’t you just love the Metallic Clothespins?!  Now, wrap up the whole thing  up in a cello bag and put a bow on it!  TOO CUTE!

Tuesday Treats and Weekly Deals

At my last Stamp a Stack , one of my wonderful Stampin’ Ladies, Joanie Bitter,  brought these adorable treat holders and they have been a huge hit on my display table.   So I thought I would share them with you!  They are perfect for Easter baskets, school or work treats  or your Easter table.  Very easy to make too!!
Just Take 2 large Scallop Circles, cut from the Scallop Circles Bigz Die and fold them together at the base as shown in the pictures below….add a small scallop punch  for bunny face with oval punches for ears or for the chick, small scallop circles cut for the wings.  Tie at the top with a cute ribbon and slip a tasty treat or cookie inside.  Super Cute!!!  Thanks Joanie for sharing!!
