Watercolor Wonder

There is so many different aspects to the Watercolor Wonder Designer Paper. I saw a beautiful card made by Diana Gibbs on Pinterest with this color combination and it totally inspired me!!  I have so many pieces of this rose paper from the Watercolor Wonder DSP and I thought this is a lovely way to use it.

Using the Hexagon Hive Framelit on the pretty rose DSP  and adding the Smokey Slate dot DSP behind.  The Soft Sky Cardstock and Soft Sky Seam Binding  compliments the Smokey Slate and Crisp Cantaloupe colors wonderfully.

I also made a quick gift bag from the same combinations of  designer papers.  I used a clip from the Hardware Essentials to keep my bag closed.

Check out the silver glitter butterfly underlay….it is the little things that make it special.

DOUBLE Tuesday Treats and Weekly Deals!!

Here are some last minute Easter / Springtime treats!  I thought these little carrot “sour cream container” treats are just adorable!!  Take a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch square  piece of Pumpkin Pie Designer Paper( DSP), roll it into a tube and seal the bottom one way, fill with candy for the little ones or money for the teenagers(won’t they be surprised!) , add some fringed Old Olive DSP into the top and seal it the other way…looks like a cute carrot to me!!
 





















Next…how about some Eggs for the basket too!!  Check out these super easy Easter Egg treat cups!  Cut two Ovals using the Oval Framelits , one white cardstock and the other from the Brights Designer Paper(DSP), punch a hole with a 1 3/4 inch punch in the colored DSP oval , put treats into the Circle Treat Cup and assemble.  Ready just in time for Easter baskets or on everyone's  Easter breakfast plate!  























 I even made Grandpa a “hard boiled egg”!  He wouldn’t appreciate the cute and colorful ones and I didn’t want to leave him out on Easter morning!!!

I am all about window sheets right now.  When I first started stamping , 17 yrs. ago, shaker cards were all the rage.  And then for the longest time, I didn’t use window sheets at all..now I can't get enough of them.  They are so much more than just a shaker card.   And of course there is nothing better than  polka dots and a flowers!!

Tuesday Treats and Weekly Deals

At my last Stamp a Stack , one of my wonderful Stampin’ Ladies, Joanie Bitter,  brought these adorable treat holders and they have been a huge hit on my display table.   So I thought I would share them with you!  They are perfect for Easter baskets, school or work treats  or your Easter table.  Very easy to make too!!
Just Take 2 large Scallop Circles, cut from the Scallop Circles Bigz Die and fold them together at the base as shown in the pictures below….add a small scallop punch  for bunny face with oval punches for ears or for the chick, small scallop circles cut for the wings.  Tie at the top with a cute ribbon and slip a tasty treat or cookie inside.  Super Cute!!!  Thanks Joanie for sharing!!

Another Great Year!

I love a stamp set that has a nice, big presence…Another Great Year does just that!   It makes it easy to create a card.  Stamp the greeting in black on the card and again on a piece scrap red cardstock.  Cut the red banners out and pop up over your stamped greeting.  As for the candles…take a 2 1/2 inch x 2 1/2 inch piece of dsp , roll it around a skinny stick(I used a paint brush handle)  wind it tight and secure the end with mono adhesive or mono glue.  Attach the flame(bird punch wing) to string and slide in the dsp tube for a cute candle look!

Sorry this is a bit late for Tuesday Treats…but better late than never!   We were away on a mini getaway and the   Wi-Fi  just wouldn’t cooperate!!! Anyway…..

Aren’t these cute??   The roses on these mini coffee cups are made with felt and cut from the Spiral Flower Originals Die.   The photo just doesn’t do them justice! They would brighten any day….perfect for a bridal shower, or a co- worker at Easter or just because….
