Creative Inking Blog Hop – Celebrating Winter

Welcome to our Creative Inking Blog Hop!!  Today we are Celebrating Winter!!   Here is a super sweet slider card using the Spirited Snowman….

and he is spirited!!!  Just click the video to see...

Slider cards are super easy to make….start with the Classic Label Punch…insert it into your Blueberry Bushel postcard …all the way in…..punch and slide over and punch to the other edge.

Take your cut out snowman and layer two pennies together with a Mini Stampin Dimensional between the pennies.  Adhere the snowman on the back of the pennies.  Tuck the snowman with pennies into the slot on your card. 

Add Foam Adhesive Strips to the back of the Blueberry Bushel card to raise it off the main Whisper White card.


And he is ready to spin cartwheels back and forth!!!  Too fun!!!

Greek Isles Trip Achievers Blog Hop

Welcome to the Greek Isles Trip Achiever's Blog Hop!!  This month we are highlighting our upcoming Stampin’ Up! Occasions and Sale a bration Catalogs!!

There are so many awesome new stamps and products in both these catalogs…it was hard to choose what to highlight!  I decided to go with the Happiness Blooms Suite!!   Flowers of course….but this suite  has a lovely Scandinavian feel.  Super fun and simple!

Using a Night of Navy background….add a strip of the Happiness Blooms Designer Paper…love the bold navy dots!!   Then stamp the two piece flower in Lovely Lipstick and Granny Apple Green.  Add a sentiment from a brand new set called Incredible Like You. 


Add three gems colored with Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends.

Finish the card by adding a sentiment from a brand new set called Incredible Like You.  Super easy Z – Fold card!!  Your done!!

Here is a quick and pretty card we did at Stamp Club this month.

Using the large snowflake from the Snow Fall Thinlets, cut it out from a post card whisper white.  Save that snowflake!!  Layer the cut out onto a piece of the Noel Glimmer DSP in Merry Merlot.  Add the snowflake on top of the glimmer paper.  Layer with another snowflake in Golf Foil and top off with a Faceted Gem!  The photos to do this card justice….it is full of sparkle and shine!!

It is hard to see …but can you see the shimmer from the Glitter Paper.

Finish the inside with a strip of sparkle and a greeting from the Timeless Tidings Stamp Set.

We also did the same card in Tranquil Tide….but this time, because I have SO MANY December Birthdays in my family….I made the snowflake card a Birthday card!!!   Snowflakes are not just for Christmas…they are perfect for thank you, birthdays, get well and so much more….any winter event you may have!!

Here a couple of projects we have done recently in the studio…..


First a simple JOY card made with our Large Letter Framelits…  on SALE until Nov 28th!! 
Background is the Buffalo Checked Stamp inked in Pool Party.  Add a Snowflake from the Snow Fall Dies from the Snow Flake Showcase and you have a lovely Winter / Christmas greeting card. 

Next is a darling piece of Home decor….I was inspired by Bonnie O’Neill for this piece. 


Starting with those awesome Large Letters again for the H, M, and E.  The “O” is an interchangeable decorative piece….first for the upcoming Holidays….I used one of our Boxwood Wreaths found in the main catalog…added Red Satin Ribbon and some Red Rhinestones for a lovely touch. 



I left the glass off this frame because of the the 3-D effect and because the "O” is interchangeable!!   The ideas are infinite!!   But I just made four different ones for the seasons….each one has a Velcro circle on  the back for a quick switch out!!


So cute and fun!!!

Creative Inking Blog Hop…Holiday Gift Giving!

Hello Stampers!
Welcome to the Creative Inking Blog Hop!   This month we are highlighting Holiday Gift Giving.  And for my post, I have decided to go one step further and make my gift perfect for New Years Celebrations!

Using the Broadway Bound Designer Series Paper….take a 3’’ x 9” piece and wrap it around your mini Champagne bottle adhering using Tear and Tape.  I thoughts the gold, silver and black dots are perfect for a little bottle of bubbly!! Tied off with our Black Glittered Ribbon….its not just for Halloween!!  Tuck a couple of sparklers in the bow!!

Add the New Years sentiment from the Warm Hearted Hostess Set…the Layering Oval framelits are perfect for any sentiment in that set!  Accent with some snowflakes from the Blizzard Thinelts…because we not not over winter snows just yet!  (or in Wisconsin not for a loooong time!!)

Add some decorative mini snowflakes to the sparkler tips….and a couple of Rhinestone Gems to make it shine!

What a lovely little gift to give to  special friends or family members….they will be thinking of you at Midnight on New Years Eve when they crack it open and light the sparklers into the New Year!!
