This is a sweet kit that can be used for so much more than a lovely Valentine treat  shown here...

Here are a couple of quick cards I made using some of the products from this months Paper Pumpkin!

Since this set is compatible with the Heart Punch Pack from the Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog I punched a frame using Highland Heather Cardtsock.  Layered the frame onto Smokey Slate Cardstock with a heart 'window' Punched out...so it is now a peek a boo card.  

And here is the  INSIDE of the card....the floral heart is a die cut from the Paper Pumpkin Kit!   I just colored the floral using our Stampin' Blends.  Once again layer onto Highland Heather cardstock and attach to the flip side or white side of one of our Heart Doilies,.

It is sooooo very pretty...these pictures don't do the heart justice!!  This is a card that can be used for any occasion...not just Valentines!

Here is the same card just using Crumb Cake Cardstock and the Rococo Rose Heart Die Cut along with Rococo Rose Cardstock.   

The cards are then embellished with colored floral sequins also found in the kit.  I added a small Pearl center and tied it off with our Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.

Stampin' Up! Tropical Oasis Meets Thoughtful Blooms!

Recently I had a Team Gathering for my Water City Stampers where we made 16 project all in one day!  This included 4 suites...3 cards and 1 3-D items from each suite....oh my gosh..it was fun to create and they had fun making all those projects!!  One of the Suites we worked from was the Tropical Oasis .

 This suite just evokes Paradise with its retro inspired Designer Series Paper!   And check out the pretty popped up flowers from the FREE Saleabration Set ...Thoughtful Blooms!  It can be yours for FREE with a $50 merchandise order.   Don't those flowers match the paper perfectly!!  They are stamped in Real Red Ink on Petal Pink Cardstock and then sponged with Real red Ink on the edges of the flowers.  The flowers are then finished off with a Champagne Rhinestone.

Don't forget the inside of your card...one more flower...there can never be too many!!

Parisian Blossoms ...Pretty!!

One of the prettiest Designer Series Papers offered this year in the New Mini Catalog is the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP.     It is filled with Champagne foiled images and is just stunning utilizing only  just three colors...Pool Party, Petal Pink and Sahara Sand.  I choose this paper to make calendars for my Bingo ladies...all 46 of them , using this pretty paper. 

Although it is hard to get a good picture of the foil......these cherry blossoms sparkle with the light.

Layered with Pool Party and Sahara Sand cardstock makes this calendar bright and fresh for your desk.  

Highlight with Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon.

Add a little die cut flower in Petal Pink and Champagne Foil along with a Champagne Rhinestone makes for a pretty pop of whimsy.

How lovely to look at these on your desk each day.

There are so many beautiful colors in this DSP...any choice will be gorgeous...so speaking of Gorgeous...I went with Gorgeous Grape for the base of my card...highlighted with accents of Blackberry Bliss.  Just perfect for that lovely Lily painted background...it is stunning designer paper!!

The white detailed lily cutout and the leaves and stem are cut from the dies.  Layer the white cutout onto the watercolor side of the DSP . And do some fussy cutting to get that beautiful lily....the leaves are also cut from the watercolor side of the DSP as well.  

Fold your card base in half and cut 1" from the side....

This is the perfect place for a coordinating watercolor piece of DSP.  The sentiments come from one more FREE Salabration item....Thoughtful Blooms.  

Tie a simple bow from Linen Thread to finish it off.
