Creative Inking Blog Hop - Celebrating Sale-a-bration!!

 

How exciting is this...two Saleabrations this year!!  Woohoo!   So during Saleabration....I always highlight one Saleabration product on my Tuesday Facebook Live called Saleabration Celebration!   This past Tuesday I featured the Delicate Dahlias.  You can watch it HERE!

And here are several cards from this beautiful Stamp set...which you can only get for FREE with a $100 order.  

Starting with a Crumb Cake background....the beautiful transitional colors of August are perfect for this card....Bumblebee, Calypso Coral , Pear Pizazz and Poppy Parade.  

Finished with some Black Matte Dots and a bit of Black Gingham Ribbon.  The sentiment comes from a lovely Stamp Set in the Holiday Catalog called...Heartfelt Wishes. 

Next ...one of my favorite techniques is Paper Piecing with our Assorted Colors of Designer Series 6x6 packs.

Sticking with a similar color pallet...Calypso Coral, Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green...stamp your Dahlias and leaves with matching ink onto the Designer DSP and start fussy cutting!!  

You can see...I cut several layers of the dahlia to give it some dimension!!   And the background stripe came from another FREE Saleabration Product....Beautifully Penned DSP.  

And so while I was at it....I went out of my comfort zone and made another using Coastal Cabana, Soft Succulent, and Calypso Coral....more great transitional colors for the season!!

Layered on Soft Succulent and with the black buffalo check plaid coming form the Hostess DSP Pattern party!   One can NEVER have too much Black and White DSP.

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop - The Adventure Begins!

I will say....this month's Paper Pumpkin ....The Adventure Begins....has to be my ALL TIME favorite Pumpkin!!

When I saw the window cards ..I immediately saw shaker cards...and here are mine.

Using a piece of window sheet and the pack of Sequins for Everything found in the main catalog.

The green sequins are perfect for the evergreens and fireflies!

Next I created my own background of snow with Pool Party Cardstock and dots of snow with a White Chalk Marker.

Add a snowhill at the base of the card and the sequins in this card are a brand new product from our New Holiday Mini....Subtle Shimmer Sequins.

And finally mix and match the backgrounds and make different scenes!!!   

The campers looks perfect with the rolling hills background !!

And when you mix and match backgrounds...you are left with cards that open on the left side!!  So what do you do...make a trifold!!!

Using an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 " piece of Window sheet and create a clear trifold window card.

Add the lantern to the front of the card along with a sweet piece of Black and White Gingham Ribbon.

Now it is time to see what all the other fabulous Demonstrators have created!!

Shaded Summer - Week One of Saleabration Celebration!!

 Woohoo!!   The most wonderful time of the year...again!!   Saleabration has begun for the months of August and September!!  How lucky are we??!!

Stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Stampin Blends in Polished Pink....

Balmy Blue.....

or Fresh Freesia!   All leaves and flower centers colored with Granny Apple Green and Mango Melody.

Finish with a bit of sparkle from the In Color Jewels.

And for the next card...how about a WOW card...these beautiful flowers come from the same Shaded Summer Dies!!!   They are "stand alone " dies...meaning the you can build these beautiful flowers without any stamping.  

Starting with a background from the same Beautifully Penned FREE DSP ...build these flowers using Pool Party, Coastal Cabana , Highland Heather , Gorgeous Grape , Granny Apple Green and Pear Pizazz.    Top off with the combination of In Color Jewels and Loose Flower Flourishes. Now that's a WOW card!!
