A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop - Sending Hearts

 

Thank you for checking out A Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop!   This month we are showing alternative projects for January's Paper Pumpkin ...Sending Hearts!

This is a super fun Paper Pumpkin...very versatile! 

 

Here is all the goodies in the kit!

And this is all the cards you can create!

And  here are just a few of my alternative projects.

First using Basic Black CS 4 1/4 x 7 1/2 .   Score at 2".  Cut one of the Poppy Red Card fronts to a piece 4 x 1 3/4 .  Adhere it to the top.  Cut a Basic Black piece 3 1/2 x 3 3/4 ... this is the perfect size for the Heart piece.  Adhere together...add heart stamp in Poppy Red

Adhere this piece with Stampin Dimensionals.  Add Black ribbon...Love die cut and a few of the enamel hearts colored with a Real Red Stampin Blend.

Looks adorable with the matching Poppy Red envelopes...stamped with "hugs and kisses" of course!

Now...how about a treat box...Take one of the Petal Pink Card fronts and fold.  Score at the top of the card 3/4 " ...score firmly enough to go through both layers.  Seal top with Tear and Tape

Score the bottom of the card's at 1 3/4...again score firmly to go through both layers.  

Fold and adhere into a triangle box with Tear and Tape.

Pop a couple of holes in the box and tie with the black ribbon.

Stamp the snail...color with Stampin Blends...Smoky Slate and Poppy Red Combos. 

Add greeting and more colored enamel hearts!!  Cute as can be!...Perfect for a Pay Day...Butterfinger...or whatever your favorite would be!

And finally...I cracked out the Brand new Blending Brushes...LOVE THEM!

Using the mailbox prepinted piece...I blended some grass on Pear Pizazz and sky in Pool Party Ink.  stamp and cut out another snail...colored as above...but add a couple of mushrooms...which came from the framelits in the Snail Mail Bundle found in the Occasions Catalog.   Coordinate with Pool Party and Smokey Slate CS.  

Don't forget those AWESOME red envelopes...included in the kit!
