Day 5 New Catalog Kick Off
So on my last post we made frames using 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of DSP....Click Here to view!
So now we are going to make frames with a 12 x 12 piece of Designer Series Paper. Using the awesome wood grain paper again from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper I made a realistic wood frame.
Using the same 1/2 measurement score on all 4 sides ...1/2" , 1", 1 1/2", and 2" . For more directions on folding go to the previous post or to the Facebook Live.
Lined with a 8 x 8 piece of Early Espresso Cardstock and a 6 x 6 piece of Flowers For Every Season DSP . Decorated with the Jars of Flowers Bundle. Love the yellow sunflowers on that Misty Moonlight background.
Next I wanted a frame with thicker, wider edges. Again using a 12 x 12 piece of DSP from the In Good Taste Paper...this time score at 3/4 " , 1 1/2 " 2 1/4," and 3 " on all sides. The extra score line will be a 3 3/4" to make the mitered corners. Watch the Facebook Live...it really helps with the folding!! I used the Jar of Flowers again...this time with yellow roses.
Or how about this lovely Bumblebee Sunflower from Celebrate Sunflowers bundle!! Just Jade Cardstock is the perfect compliment for the leaves.. I just love the thicker edged frame in the realistic wood grain frames!!
And if you like...make it into a card...that also can be used for the easel.
