Hello Stampers!!
Thank you for joining us on our Creative Inking Blog Hop!! For this month's focus we will be featuring the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.
So the first Suite that I knew I just had to have is the Peony Garden. This is just a stunning suite!!
From the Prized Peony Stamp Set to the beautiful Peony Dies...the Square Vellum Doilies, the Elegant Faceted Gems and the gorgeous Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon...it all is just so lovely...and so easy to work with.
So today...I created just a simple birthday card using that lovely Peony Garden Designer Series Paper.
The DSP has many botanical patterns to work with and several that can be colored in...so that is what I did!!
These pretty little peony blossoms start with this Gray Granite and White botanical pattern.
And here is the other side...which is s simple Gray Granite tweed-like pattern.
So I colored the peony blossomed DSP using Stampin; Blends in Rococo Rose Combo Blends and Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends Combo ...it is such a striking color combination...the photos don't do it justice.
And I included the next photo because when you turn the DSP over the Stampin Blends will bleed through the paper and it always makes an intriguing watercolor pattern. Isn't it pretty...but we won't be using that today...turn it back lol!!
So back to the card!!! Layered with Rococo Rose Cardstock and added to Gray Granite Cardstock. Tie off with the Shimmer Gray Granite Ribbon and add some of these sparkly Elegant Faceted Gems!
And for the greeting I used the Well Said Stamp set along with the Well Written Dies.
Notice how the birthday is raised ...that is a Brand New Product called Foam Adhesive Sheets.
Stick cardstock or dsp on one side of a Foam Raised Sheet. Run with your die on top of the cardstock and roll through the die cutting machine. It gives your greetings such a nice raised presence!! Use this on any of your dies you want raised!! Super fun!!
And here is another one...colored in Dark Petal Pink and Light Calypso Coral Stampin Blends...the leaves are colored with the Old Olive Como Stampin Blends.
