Hi Everyone!
And welcome to our Creative Inking Blog Hop for the month of March! Our theme is Springing Ahead! And I think we all are ready for thoughts of Spring! So I choose to highlight our Mountain Air Bundle
What a perfect way to welcome Spring than with a lovely outdoor card. With a base of Soft Suede Cardstock...I stamped my scene on Sahara Sand cardstock. Beginning with the mountain range inked up in Soft Suede.....stamp it once in full ink...stamp again and again above the first row of mountains without reinking. It gives it a a grand feel of depth and texture. Next stamp the tree line just below the base of the mountains in Mossy Meadow Ink. And finally sponge Seaside Spray ink for the water just below the trees. Super easy!!! Oh yeah...don't forget some birds in Gray Granite!!
Now using an Aqua Painter ...with no extra ink...just move the ink with the water in the aqua painter. I watercolored the first range of the mountains....the base of the treeline and the whole water area...again no extra ink was added.
I then added two die cut evergreen trees from the Majestic Mountain Dies. The sentiment comes from my favorite new stamp set....Label Me Bold!!
And finally as always...don't forget the inside of your card....I just stamped some evergreen trees in Mossy Meadow Ink for finishing touch. We made this card at my last Stamp a Stack and everyone commented on how easy this card is to make...but doesn't necessarily look like it. I hope you give it a try!!
