Here are the details…..
PARTY PANDAS
Supplies: Melon Mambo CS and Ink, Whisper White CS, Basic Black CS, Black Archival Ink, Party Pandas Stamp Set, Sure Do Love You Bundle, Layering Circle Framelits Smokey Slate Ink, Aqua Painter
MEASUREMENTS:
Melon Mambo CS 5 ½” x 8 ½”, WW postcard 4 x 5 ¼” , Panda Layering Pieces: WW 2 ¼” x 3 ¼”, Basic Black 2 1/2” x 3 1/2"
DIRECTIONS:
On the front of the card….Stamp Conversation Hearts randomly on Melon Mambo CS with Melon Mambo ink. Stamp the banner and cut out with framelits. Cut a Circle frame with 2 layering circles from Basic Black CS. Using the smaller circle framelit from the 2 used above cut a circle from the Melon Mambo card. Attach black frame. On the inside of card …
Stamp panda with envelope to WW cardstock. Layer to Basic Black Cardstock. Stamp another Panda on scrap white. Cut out both of his arms. Place cutout arms on Panda piece with Stampin Dimensionals.

Cut Always heart using Lots to Love Box Framelits. Slide heart into arms. Using Smokey Slate Ink and Aqua Painter shadow underneath Panda.

Winter Waterfront

The first Stamp set I purchased from the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog was the Waterfront Stamp Set.  This is a beautiful set designed by a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.  It is so versatile!!

Create tranquil sceneries, whether it’s lakes lined with trees, tropical islands, or snow-covered forests. This set is ideal for trying out new coloring techniques.

I was inspired to make a pretty winter scene…quick and easy.

Just sponge Island Indigo Ink onto Island Indigo Cardstock.  Add Island Indigo inked trees…stamping some off, so they look layered.  Stamp Whisper White for a snowy ground cover.  Using the 1 inch circle punch cut a Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper moon…sponge it a bit with some Island Indigo Ink.  Use the dots stamp in Whisper White Craft Ink for a snowy scene.  Lovely and so peaceful!!

Epic Celebration!!

Some images are timeless and yet represent youth and creativity like no other. Have fun creating cards for the cool dudes 'n' gals among your friends and family.

Here is what I did…..Using the tennis shoes for the focal part of the card.  I remember wearing my Converse tennies many years ago….we thought we were “all that!”  Well they certainly have made a comeback!!

Using the new Simple Stripes Folder from the Occasions Catalog adds a terrific background which reminds me of basketball court hardwoods.

I used the Light Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends to color the shoes in….then to give it a bit of a faded look, I used the Color Lifter …..love that look!!!  The Color Lifter is definitely a “must have”!!  Finish the card off with a pop of silver foil and add your greeting and you have a perfect card for the younger or older generation!

At my Stamp a Stacks I always like to offer more than one color to choose from……

Here is the same card using Real Red Cardstock and Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends.

 

On this card the Simple Stripes is reversed ….I think I like it better the other way….

Notice under the shoes is a bit of crumb cake ink added with an Aqua Painter…so your shoes don’t look like they are floating!!

And let’s not forget the girls!!!!   Here it is in Powder Pink!!  Love them!!!

Instead of a foil strip…I used Iridescent Ice Glimmer Paper from the Occasions Catalog….too cute!
