Creative Inking Blog Hop - Holiday Sneak Peek!

Hi Everyone!!
Welcome to the Creative Inking Blog Hop!!   This month's theme is a Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek!!
It is my favorite time of year...when the Holiday Catalog finally arrives!
One of my "must haves" when I first got the catalog was the Harvest Hellos Bundle!  With this darling set ...you can stamp & punch apples, pumpkins, and jack'o lanterns with ease!

I just made a sweet and simple apple card...perfect for any occasion!   The apple was punched from our new Toile Tidings Designer Paper.  Accented with our new Come To Gather Ribbon Combo Pack.

A Holiday Rhinestone adds a finishing touch.

And to coordinate with this cute card....how about a treat box made from the Perfect Parcels Dies.

This time the apple is stamped and punched from Harvest Hellos...tied with a bit of Linen Twine.

A belly band keeps the box closed...but pop it open to get to the treats!!  Love the checks from the Toile Tidings DSP!!

So here we have several products from several different suites in the New Holiday Catalog....but they all coordinate!!   I love that Stampin' Up! makes it easy for us to create such lovely projects with such ease!!

Now it is time to see what Kelly has created.....

or hop back to Diane's blog to see what she has to share today!

The New Holiday Catalog is starts on September 4th ...just in time for all your upcoming Holiday needs!!

It comes from the most wonderful suite of products called Wrapped In Plaid!  For this card....I just used the NEW Pine Tree Punch and the NEW Wrapped In Plaid 6x6 Designer Paper.   Add some "snow" dots with a White Chalk Marker and a metal star from the NEW Star Designer Elements.  The greeting is from a NEW stamp set called Itty Bitty Christmas.  The base cardstock is Smokey Slate along with Shaded Spruce cardstock for the pine trees.

Notice the gold foil accents in the Plaid DSP!!!  You will love it!!! This card is super sweet and super simple!!  Perfect when you have to make multiple cards!!

Greek Isles Blog Hop - Anything New!

Welcome to the Greek Isles Trip Achievers Blog Hop!   We are just back from the Greek Isle Cruise and it was absolutely wonderful!!  The theme for our last Greek Isle Blog Hop is Anything New!   So I have chosen to highlight the card I did for our Cruise swap...From the Silhouette Scenes Bundle.
Summer
Using a background of Blueberry Bushel Cardstock....add the swirly background designer paper from See a Silhouette Designer Series paper.  It makes for a perfect nighttime sky.  Add a moon from our Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper and the tree branch cut form Basic Black cardstock...

Perfect for the nighttime summer evening silhouette!!

But then I continued on and made the same type of scene for Autumn.

Autumn
Seaside Spray cardstock makes for a beautiful autumn sky.   Add the branch cut from Crumb Cake and sponged with "fallish" colors...Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie.

Such a lovely autumn day....   now onto the next season...winter.

Winter

Starting with a Smokey Slate Cardstock background....add a few dots with the White Chalk Marker for snowflakes.  Cut the branch out of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.

Add a couple of redbirds from the Well Written Dies.  And you have a perfect winter scene.

Spring

And finally let's finish the series off with a lovely springtime scene.  Pool Party is the background cardstock  and the tree branch is cut from Soft Seafoam sponged with a bit of Pear Pizzazz.  A So Saffron Sun and the silhouette is stamped in Balmy Blue.

All of the seasonal Silhouette Scenes make for a lovely card collection.

Creative Inking Blog Hop - Love It Chop It - Designer Series Paper Love

Welcome to this months Creative Inking Blog Hop!!   The theme for July is Designer Series Paper...Love It Chop It!!
Now I have nooooo problem using my Designer Series paper...also known as DSP.  Our DSP is all so beautiful....it makes for EASY card making and paper crafting!!

So the DSP I choose for this challenge was the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper.  This whole Suite of products is stunning!!

But here are my cards....

This card layout is one of my favorite folds.   Fold your cardstock in half and cut an 1 1/4 " off one side.  Now your card front is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 " so cut a 4 x 4' piece of DSP for the front .

And add it's coordinating side  along the edge.  1 1/4 " x 5 1/4".     Easy Peasy!!

And so pretty!!   I love matching stripes with flowers!!

And I am sure you are all asking how to make this lovely Magnolia Blossom....here is a video from Stampin' Up! home office explaining just that.  Now I used Petal Pink Cardstock and Ink for the center of the flower and one of our Perennial Essence Floral Centers is the perfect finishing touch!!

Too fun!!

And just for a change of pace...here is a different combination of Magnolia Lane DSP.

Same card layout....which pattern combo is your favorite??

Now it is time to check out all the other lovely creations made today....Happy Hopping!!

Creative Inking Blog Hop - Favorite New Catalog Product Suite

Welcome to the Creative Inking Blog Hop for June!  This month our theme is our Favorite New Product Suite!   Mine thoughts immediately went to the Woven Heirlooms Suite!!   I just love it!!  It includes these wonderful frames which are truly versatile!!   So this bundles includes the dies to cut AND emboss!!
WOVEN THREADS SUITE BUNDLE

Price: $72.00

And are are my creations.....
Using our brand new Seaside Spray Cardstock for the embossed frame and card base.   I added some sponging to the frame to make the embossed impression pop! The sentiment came from the Woven Threads Stamp Set...the font in this set is just lovely!!

I also added a coordinating flower stamped and punched in Terracotta Tile and punched with the Perennial Flower Punch .  And for the center...I took a small piece of the Sahara Sands Woven Threads ribbon and made a tiny flower center tassel.    I love how that turned out!!

Now for a more whimsical card...I worked with the Purple Posy patterned Designer Paper and Cardstock.  Using the Oval Framelit and embossing folder, I decided to make it a shaker card.

Again...I sponged the frame with the coordinating ink and added a Polka Ribbon bow.

I just love the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment...such a pop of color and sparkle!

So I hope you enjoyed what I had to share today....now it is time to hop on over to see what Barb has created for you!!

Greek Isles Trip Achievers Blog Hop - Anything New!

Welcome to the Greek Isles Trip Achievers Blog Hop!   Today's theme is anything from the New and Fabulous  2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Catalog!   I have chosen to highlight a couple of sweet treats I recently made for my Annual New Catalog Bingo I just had a couple of weeks ago. Using the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper made it super easy to create some summer fun treats!!

Aren't these birds just darling?   And yes they are "fussy cut" ....but they were quick to do...especially if you skip cutting out the legs...you don't even notice.when tucked into the tag.

Making a tag from our versatile new Delightful Tag Topper was super simple.

Add a cello bag full of summer slices of candy...tie off with the coordinating Scalloped Lace Ribbon...pop in a colorful glass that they all got to take home.  So sweet!!

And here is another treat all attendees received.....what is summer without a piece of pie??

Decorating each pie with more of the Bird Ballad Designer Paper...but this time I took a 2 1/4 inch Circle Punch....and punched this paper!!  Each circle was different....but so darling and the fitting sentiment came from the Free As a Bird Stamp Set!

Again...tie off with the Scalloped Lace Ribbon...our best lace ribbon yet!!

Looks so sweet....but tastes even better!!  Apple, Cherry, Blueberry???? Which one is your favorite??

So I hope you enjoyed my projects for this blog hop...make sure to check out all the wonderful creation!!   You are here at Water City Stamping...by Renee Kohnke.  Happy Hopping!!
