Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop….Non Traditional Festive! No Red or Green!!

We're featuring Non Traditional Festive Creations….nothing red or green!!!   How fun!!  . I love Holiday cards that are different!!
So for my creations…..I decided to go with Night of Navy and Whisper White.   Being from Wisconsin ….we have long, cold but beautiful winters.  I was inspired by our winters to make some seasonal Christmas cards.  I decided to use the Winter Woods Bundle along with The Dashing Deer Bundle.  They coordinate so nicely.

This makes for lovely nighttime, peaceful woodland scene.  Using our Sparkle Glimmer Paper for the trees and our Silver Foil for the deer.  Add some white Chalk Marker dots for a bit of falling snow and a few stars from the Twinkle Adhesive Backed Sequins.  Pretty…
And here is another version using the larger deer from the Dashing Deer Bundle.

Another lovely, nighttime Christmas card….quick and easy when you need to make many Christmas cards.

He is quite majestic  …don’t you think?

Wishing You Well!

We made a pretty ,little card at my Stamp a Stack this past week.   Using the stamp set…. Wishing You Well!  Now when I first saw this set…it really didn't catch my eye….but for card classes, sometimes you need just a basic set.  Well was I wrong…this is a lovely set, that can make some quick,  yet beautiful cards.

Here are some ideas from Stampin’ Up!….

And here is the card we made this weekend…..brimming with all fall colors.

Beginning with our Gold Foil Edge Cards with Envelopes with makes a perfect base for any stylish card. 

GOLD FOIL-EDGED CARDS & ENVELOPES
Price: $9.50

Then ink up the wheat stamp in Crushed Curry and before you stamp it on your cardstock, take a sponge dauber and add some Cajun Craze ink along the sides….and then stamp it.   You then get a perfect multi- colored look.  Add some flowers in Merry Merlot and stamp a bow again in Merry Merlot….fussy cut!  Finish off the bow with a Gold Gem colored with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends.  Pretty ,Pretty!

And finally the background was made with the Tin Tile Textured Embossing Folder…love it!!

Alaska Achiever’s Blog Hop…Last one!!

And welcome to our very last Alaskan Achiever's Blog Hop!  Our Stampin’ Up! year ends September 30th.  In October  we will have a brand new Blog Hop for all those who earned the Stampin’ Up! Greek Isles Achiever’s Trip.  I will be there!!!   So today is the last Alaskan Blog Hop…it has been a great year and we are going to finish the year with some awesome projects to share with you!!
Our theme is anything from the Holiday Catalog.  So I am going to share two cards from the Festive Farmhouse Bundle.

Every year I always like to do a Autumn card ….I thought the house would be perfect for this….

Using the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set as well…..makes for a lovely Autumnal tree on a Balmy Blue Cardstock background.

And notice in the up close picture…I stamped  the house on the  wood grained DSP from the Festive Farmhouse Designer Paper series.

Makes for a darling card for any fall occasion.

But then I like to take the same layout and make a spooky card for Halloween.



Using the same house….with that adorable picket fence and wood grained house.  But add it to Basic Black Cardstock, with a moon and some bats punched from our Spooky Sweets Bundle with Black Foil Sheets.



Add some stars dots with a White Chalk Marker and some silver stars from the Twinkle Twinkle Suite.
And finish off with a cute little Jack o Lantern right by the door.


Same card…..two totally different looks….which one is your favorite?

Using a the “shiplap” Designer Paper from Festive Farmhouse….it makes a lovely country background …don’t you think?

Also adding the Chicken Wire Elements and coloring in with the Stampin’ Blends.   I then finished the milk can off with a metal looking Hello tag stamped and fussy cut from the Galvanized Metallic Paper.

This card is perfect for any Autumn Hello!!

Creative Inking Blog Hop…Holiday Catalog Showcase

Hi Everyone!!
And welcome to our Creative Inking Blog Hop!!  Today we will be showcasing our Fabulous Holiday Catalog!!  A couple of days ago I showed you our darling Take Out treats …..well here are a couple more ways to use the Take Out Treats Bundle to make even more super ,cute treats …perfect for any Autumn occasion!!
I made my boxes into an apple and a pumpkin!!!

Too cute right???

For the Real Red Apple …..I used the window framelit and cut it out of the front of the box…..add a window sheet and fill with some fun candy!

Add a stem and a couple of leaves punched from the Lemon Builder Punch.   Add a tag and the Yum from the Take Out Treats Greeting Set and you are all set!!


Gummy worms might also be a fun filler for this box…..!

Next we have the pumpkin made from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock.  This time I cut a heart for the window….again…don't forget to add a piece of window sheet!


I added a Stem again, a leaf from the lemon punch and of course a pumpkin has curly vines!!   Super easy to make….just take a skinny piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock and wrap it around a pen and you have instant vines!!

Add a tag….again from the Take Out Treats….a bit of candy corn and you are ready to go!!!

Added some punched out bats and a greeting from the Spooky Sweets Bundle.  The Bat Punch is a MUST HAVE!! The bats are punched from our new Black Foil Sheets for some super fun shiny bats!

Tie up the box with The Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon….love it!!

And you are all set to hand out some sweet treats!!!
